Amanda is now a true REDNECK

Well, Amanda has now become a true Redneck. She went to a Nascar race with me. A few weekends ago we left the kids home with Grandma(omi) and went to Phoenix. We went with my Dad, my Uncle Randy and also my younger brother Chris and his wife(heidi). We all had a great time. We flew out Friday morning. In the afternoon we went to the track and watched the Nationwide race. then on Saturday afternoon we went to the Sprint cup race. It was so much fun, Amanda even said she would like to go to another race with me in the future. The weather in Phoenix was great. It was in the high 80's low 90's all weekend. We didn't want to come home. Especially knowing that it was snowing here.

We don't always get the kids new outfits for Easter, it just depends on what they have that year. But this year, all three of them needed new outfits, so we got them all to match while I can still get away with it! I think they turned out so darn cute! But can I just tell you how hard it is to get all three of them to look at the camera and smile at the same time!!! I think we did pretty good considering!

Easter Parties

We have a lot of family here in the valley, so our kids get to have some fun Easter parties. We went the Packer family party on Saturday, then off to the Moser house for some more egg hunting on Sunday. Thanks everyone for your hard work and having such fun parties. Our kids are going to have a lot of fun memories growing up with so much family around!

My step-mom called me up and said she had got tickets the the Hannah Montana movie for opening weekend at the District and wanted to know if me and Savannah, and my sister and her daughter wanted to go with her. We all thought that it sounded fun, so off we went thinking it was just going to be a normal day at the theater. Well, they started the previews, then stopped them before the movie started and a whole bunch of people from the news and radio came into the theater and surprised us all when they said, "what if Miley and Billie Ray Cyrus walked in right now!" and in they came! Savannah and her cousin jumped up and the whole theater went crazy. It was pretty cool. They chatted for a minute before stopping for a picture with the crowd and headed off. After the movie was over, we all got some fun prizes... a signed picture of Miley, Hannah Montana wig and concert book. I swear I am never in the 'right place at the right time' but I was this time and it was really fun!

California FUN

Well this last weekend was our trip to California for Savannah's cheerleading competition. As you can see we had to make a stop at Disneyland. We were staying only a few blocks away. We had the best time. The weather was great. The kids did awesome. Owen was our little trooper this weekend. We did so much walking and he hardly complained. They were both great. We asked them what some of their favorite rides were. This was there response, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain and The Tower of Terror(California Adventure). Quite the array of rides. Yes Owen was just tall enough thank goodness. Owen was even putting his hands in the air like the rest of us on some of the rides. We sure did miss our little Felicity though.... she was back home with Grandma.

Savannah Cheerleading Competition in California

Here are some pictures of Savannah doing a few of her stunts during the performance. Isn't she great? We think so. She and her team did awesome. They performed once on Saturday and then again on Sunday. At the end all the girls on her team got a trophy to bring home. Savannah thought that was great.

5 already

Well Owen turned 5 on the 11th. We had a birthday party for him on Sunday with the Families. Owen wanted to have a cake that looked like a smore. So Amanda made a smore cake. It looked awesome. So we kept with that theme and decided to have a fire out in the backyard and roast marshmallows. We made smore's. The family had a great time. The day was perfect for an outside activity. Happy Birthday Owen.

ONE YEARS OLD!

How in the world did one year already fly by! I have absolutely loved every minute of Felicity's first year. She is such a joy to have in our family. What a huge ray of sunshine she is to be around. Happy birthday! We had a 'Pretty in Pink' birthday party. The darling cake is much thanks to my awesome neighbor, who as you can see makes darling cakes!

Cheer

Savannah has had a blast in cheer this year! Her last competition was last Saturday at the Salt Lake Convention Center. They took 2nd place! She has learned so much and has made really fun friends. She has the best facials, too! We can't wait for Nationals in California!

New Years Day Fun Sledding

On New Years Day we went sledding with Brandon Staten and two of his kids, Mathew and McKenna. That was their first time... if you believe that. (Grumpy parents!)They sure did have a great time. It was a lot of fun. As you can see by the picture, Amanda and Felicity were the designated camera people. She got some great shots.
